Our Story

Hello All, I’m Heidi and my journey to starting Put a salve on it, LLC, began back in 2001,  when I went to the Aveda Institute in MN for Esthiology (training in skincare, makeup, hair removal and body treatments) and became a licensed esthetician. I’ve combined what I learned about skincare and gardening, then utilize what nature has already given us.  I now apply this ‘nature knowledge’ in formulating and handcrafting salves and body products made from nature. I hope you enjoy the all-natural benefits of nurturing skin with nature, and when in doubt…Put a salve on it!
